Professor Chen Wenjuan hosted the salon. She warmly welcomed the guests on behalf of the International Office.

Afterwards, Professor Kutan delivered a lecture on how to write an academic paper. He made a detailed description of the writing process including the title, abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, empirical results, and conclusion. Professor Arcand lectured on how to find new perspectives by mixing things in different fields. He employed an example of “Health and Wealth” to illustrate the idea. The lectures were enlightening, which aroused an intense interest among the young teachers and students who had a heated discussion on economic issues later.
