The 20^th Birthday of ZJHZCC Was Celebrated

On the morning of October 19, the 20th anniversary celebration of Zhejiang Gongshang University Hangzhou College of Commerce was held at Tonglu Campus. Jin Yibin, Party Secretary of ZJSU, Zhao Yingjun, Deputy President of ZJSU, Shi Jianxiang, Head of the Institute of Zhejiang Educational Evaluation and Secretary-general of Zhejiang Higher Education Society, Chen Weiqin, Deputy Head of Tonglu County, and the former leaders of ZJHZCC and relevant office leaders of ZJSU were invited to attend the celebration. Attendees also include leaders from other colleges and universities, heads of some bureaus, towns, and communities in Tonglu, members of the college leadership, representatives of alumni and retired teachers, as well as teachers and students of ZJHZCC. The ceremony was hosted by Fu Yuying, Party Secretary of ZJHZCC.

Jin Yibin praised ZJHZCC for its progress in the past 20 years. He emphasized that ZJSU would always be the strong support of ZJHZCC. Yet, under the background of accelerating the construction of first-class universities and disciplines and realizing the connotative development of higher education, the competition among independent colleges has become increasingly fierce. He hoped that ZJHZCC should be conscious of the hardship and strive to reform. 

On behalf of the Government of Tonglu County, Chen Weiqin delivered a speech. She acknowledged the outstanding achievements of ZJHZCC in the past 20 years, and praised the rapid development of the school since its relocation to Tonglu five years ago. Also, she expressed her gratitude to the College for its contribution to the social and economic development and educational and cultural progress of Tonglu. She said the Government of Tonglu County would continue to deepen its cooperation with ZJHZCC, promote the integrated development of the school and the county.

In his speech, Shi Jianxiang affirmed the achievements of ZJHZCC in the past 20 years. He hoped that the College could take the 20th anniversary as an opportunity to promote the development of the school to a higher level.

Jiang Tao, Chancellor of ZJHZCC, delivered a speech on behalf of the College. He summarized the development of the College in the past 20 years. ZJHZCC has always been striving to build a high level business school, making efforts to achieve the goal of having a position in China and being very important in Zhejiang. At the same time, the College will continue to carry forward the motto of ZJSU, which is “Honesty, Perseverance, Diligence and Simplicity”. Along with the development strategy of “opening up, integration, and excellence”, the school will be committed to cultivating high-quality application-oriented innovative business talents with solid theoretical basis and practical ability.

Guan Liming, Dean of the School of Information Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University said that the School of Information Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University and Hangzhou College of Commerce had witnessed the history of the construction, reform and development of independent colleges in Zhejiang and formed a friendly partnership.

 Li Long, alumni representative, felt proud of the achievements of ZJHZCC. He proudly expressed that the alumni who are active in all parts of China are struggling for their own career. There are successful ZJHZCC alumni all over the country.

During the celebration, we took the 20th anniversary as an opportunity to carry out a cooperation signing ceremony with 9 partners so as to further strengthen industry-university-research cooperation, enhance social service capacity, and help ZJHZCC enter a new development stage.
